Overview

Express Entry: Track Canada PR is an independent app from DOMN Consulting. It helps people follow Canadian Express Entry draws and receive optional notifications when new draws are announced. The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada or the Government of Canada.

Information the app processes

• App and device information. Firebase Analytics may process usage events, app version, platform, and other technical information to help us understand how the app is used.
• Crash and diagnostics information. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, diagnostic information, and device and app details so we can find and fix problems.
• Push notifications. If you enable notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes a device notification token and related delivery information so the app can notify you about new draws. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Anonymous access. The app may use Firebase anonymous authentication when requesting draw data. This does not require you to create an account or provide your name or email address.
• Local app data. Draw information and app settings may be cached on your device so the app can load quickly and remain useful between network requests.

What we do not do

The current version does not require an account, collect immigration documents, or ask you to submit your name, email address, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise location. We do not sell personal information.

How information is used

Information is used to provide draw data, deliver optional notifications, understand app performance, diagnose crashes, maintain security, and improve the app. We do not use the information described above for targeted advertising or to make decisions about your immigration eligibility.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase services, including Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, anonymous Authentication, and Realtime Database. These providers may process information on our behalf and may process it in countries other than the one where you live. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and your choices

Cached app data can be removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its data through your device settings. You can turn off push notifications through your device settings. Because the app does not require an account, there is no account profile to close. You can contact us if you have a privacy question or want to ask about information associated with the app.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
